| Customizing your Instant HotSpot®
Log-in Page Instant HotSpot allows you to customize the
look and feel of your Internet access login screen (what the customer
sees).
The log-in page provides many options for branding and promoting your
business including:
- Brand Identity - along with
using your logo you can choose from a variety of color palettes and
messaging options to best match the look and feel of your business.
- Walled Garden - Up to 10
website links (of your choosing) can be incorporated on the log-in
page, allowing users free access to only those websites. Perfect for
promoting specials, sponsors or advertising.
- Credit Card Log-in - With
AIA's

payment gateway, you can promote and offer customers the convenience
of secure, direct authorized login using their credit card (available
for WG-601 early 2005).
- Promotional Portal - Users can
be directed to a specific website automatically as soon as they
log-in. Great for exposing your website or for advertising.

| Customizing your Instant HotSpot®
Voucher Printer Receipt Instant HotSpot also allows you to
customize items and headings on the voucher printed by the Account
Generator printer (what the customer sees on their log-in receipt).
The voucher provides important information for the customer on how
much time they purchased and when their access will expire. Vouchers are
created with the simple touch of a button.
All the headings can be changed. You can even use a different
language! |

Customization can go way beyond the standard login page. If you choose
to use the login redirect feature, your login page is limited only by
your imagination. Above is a sample "Redirected Log-in page". In this
case, the log-in page actually resides on an Internet site.

| What will you charge for
Internet Access? There are three different ways of
generating login names and passwords. You can use:
- the Account Generating Voucher Printer
- the built-in browser interface
- a standard 10-key keypad (plugged directly into the back of the
Voucher Printer)
Instant HotSpot allows you to choose up to:
- 10 different pricing categories when using a 10-key keypad
- 3 different pricing categories when using your 3-button
Instant HotSpot printer or when using the built-in browser interface
In addition, you can offer automatic discounts or increased session
time by simply pressing the button more than once.
Example:
- Pressed once - 1/2 hour for $2.00
- Pressed twice - would be 1 hour for $4.00
- Pressed three times - would be 1.5 hours for $5.00 (discounted,
your choice)
If offering FREE Internet access, you simply dedicate one button as
the FREE button.
Additional pricing scenarios can be generated from the built-in
browser interface enabling you to generate user log-in authentication
and passwords remotely, from any web browser, for instance, your main
office. |

| Generating Customer
Accounts Your Instant HotSpot is now ready for your
customers! Customers will only require an 802.11b or 802.11g compatible
wireless device (now common) to connect to your Instant HotSpot.
For user accounts generated from a printer:
Step 1:
To generate a user account you simply press one of the buttons on the
Instant HotSpot printer (based on the time they purchased) give them the
receipt and they're ready to go.
Step 2:
The customer turns on their laptop or PDA, finds your Instant HotSpot
signal (SSID) and lauches their web browser. This will bring them to
your customized log-in page. They simply enter in their USERNAME &
PASSWORD from the receipt (voucher).
For user accounts generated from credit cards:
Customers go directly to Step 2 and enter their credit card
information through a secure link (
payment gateway).

| Keeping Track
Keep track of your user's accounts by producing a list of active
accounts. You can also maintain their accounts changing or deleting
their account information all from the secure web based account
management pages.
